What is Recruitalicious?
You may have heard the term Recruitalicious, but what does it really mean?
In taking a quick poll with my coworkers, I received answers such as “The savory balance of excellent customer service and creation of candidate intrigue. It’s a little sweet, a little spicy, and leaves everyone wanting another taste.” I also heard “a new generation of recruiters speaking out”, “talented recruiters constantly seeking new and innovative ways of generating great candidates” and “the most delicious recruiting information blog on the internet – with the savviest recruiters blogging on current hot topics”.
This poses a new question… Are you Recruitalicious?
In turn you ask “How do I know if I am?” Here are a few questions to help you out: Are you flexible? How about innovative? Maybe adaptable? Are you putting yourself in the position to have that ever so desired competitive advantage? Do you look backward to learn from the past, forward to anticipate where you need to be and even sideways to make sure nothing is overlooked?
If so, it’s a very good possibility!
I believe that Recruitalicious also means that “we’re fun, we’re hip, we’re trendy and we rock at what we do – recruiting!”. Any way you look at it, being “Recruitalicious” doesn’t have a set definition – it’s a state of mind and a state of being – how you make your approach to recruiting remarkable. You don’t have to be the #1 recruiter in America to be Recruitalicious; you don’t need to be making a six figure salary to be Recruitalicious either. All you have to do is set your mind to it. I am an enthusiastic believer that we are Recruitalicious and you can be too!
