Pinstripe Reports Record Annual Growth & Client Retention

Nation’s Leading Pure-Play RPO Provider Announces New Client Wins and Contract Extensions in
Technology, Advanced Manufacturing/Energy, Financial Services and Healthcare Segments

BROOKFIELD, WI – January 18, 2012 – Pinstripe, Inc., one of the nation’s leading recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firms, today announced record growth during 2011. The unprecedented number of client wins and contract extensions underscores a growing demand for Pinstripe’s customized approach, consultative style of working with clients, and service excellence.

Aberdeen Group’s research has uncovered that recruitment process outsourcing is one of the ways top performing organizations are meeting demand.  In a recent announcement of its “State of RPO 2011,” Aberdeen took the position that, “companies are looking to RPO solutions to help them innovate the hiring process.”  In addition, global consulting and research firm Everest Group identified RPO as one of the fastest growing outsourcing market segments in their 2011 RPO Annual Report.

“As the analysts predicted, business challenges have only generated greater awareness of RPO’s cost and scale benefits.  As a result, our industry has seen strong growth and M&A activity in 2011. While employment overall remains high, the demand for skilled technical personnel is still a challenge for employers. There is still a war for talent, and there always will be,” said Pinstripe CEO Sue Marks.

“In this market, companies need a partner to help support and challenge them to attract talent that will allow them to do more, faster and better, than their competition.  This is exactly where Pinstripe excels and why we have had such a transformational impact on our clients’ businesses,” Marks added.

Recognized for the depth of client relationships and the quality of results, Pinstripe enjoyed significant growth in new client partnerships and contract extensions. Since January of 2011, Pinstripe has implemented new partnerships and extended contracts with more than a dozen clients and organizations in the technology, advanced manufacturing, energy, financial and consumer services, and healthcare segments. As the leading independent pure-play RPO provider in the U.S. market, Pinstripe has emerged as the clear choice for organizations that value a customized approach and a recruiting team that mirrors their organizational culture.

Becker's Hospital Review: 4 Best Practices for Supporting Employed Physicians' Independence

Pinstripe Healthcare Vice President and Practice Leader, Mike Soisson, is quoted throughout this article on the importance of creating a team mentality within a provider organization, while still allowing some independence for employed physicians.

Physicians in private practice are accustomed to having a great deal of independence in their work. This independence comes at a cost, however; they are responsible for running the practice, which may take time away from their time with patients. For physicians looking for a relief from business management and a greater focus on patient care, hospital employment may be an attractive option. But, physicians should not have to completely sacrifice their independence for this benefit. Having complete control over employed physicians can reduce physician satisfaction and subsequently reduce their productivity, the quality of care and patient satisfaction, the opposite of physician integration goals. However, hospital executives can strike a balance between granting some independence to employed physicians and fostering a team mentality by adhering to the following best practices.

Pinstripe and Ochre House Host Global Think Tank | Human Resources Leadership Concludes Evolution is Dependent on Global Talent Capabilities

BROOKFIELD, WI – September 28, 2011Pinstripe, Inc. and Ochre House, partners and international leaders in recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), together announce the findings of their Global Think Tank.  Hosted by client-partner VWR, the event brought together HR talent acquisition leaders from such well-known companies as Rogers Communications, QVC, Siemens Healthcare, Johnson and Johnson, and Moog.

In summary, the dynamic group discussion concluded that today’s HR leaders must leverage global standards and tools to meet the needs of local markets. They must move away from a transactional mentality and open themselves to implementing plans that account for longer-term hiring requirements and closely align to business strategies.

“Many of the topics explored during our discussion uncovered trends that we are seeing across our clients and around the world,” explained Courtney Cook, senior vice president of global business practices for Pinstripe. “More and more global organizations are seeking specialized partner organizations to bridge the gap between overarching HR strategies and nuanced local execution.”

Facilitated by talent management thought leaders from both sides of the Atlantic, the discussion explored the latest strategic thinking, challenges and opportunities related to global talent acquisition today and in the future.  An opportunity for like-minded global heads of recruitment to share best practices and innovation, this gathering consisted of roundtable discussions about the future state of global talent acquisition and how to leverage global talent management solutions as part of organizational talent acquisition and staffing strategies.

Primary findings from the discussion included:

  • Global and multinational firms want the best of both worlds – the ability to have  a global strategy, but local expertise with service delivery in each unique market;
  • Global capability must be based on consistent foundations and through centralized leadership – brand, technology, metrics, participant experience – but implemented, managed and executed locally;
  • Business leaders with international experience are a must, irrespective of their physical location -the barrier to truly global organizations and global HR functions is finding people who have an international mindset and global experiences; and
  • Organizations must cultivate and promote an employer brand that resonates globally; one that is authenticated throughout the entire employee experience.

Continuing the conversation for a broader audience, Ochre House and Pinstripe’s global experts will come together for a joint webinar on Thursday, October 20 at 4 p.m. GMT (10 a.m. CT) to present the findings in more detail and answer attendee’s questions about global talent acquisition and management.  Visit http://www.pinstripetalent.com/pinstripe-global-think-tank-2011/ or www.ochrehouse.com to read about and register for the webinar event.
