Carondelet Health System
A two hospital system in Kansas City, MO sought to improve the quality and quantity of candidates and ensure that their system was the employer of choice in the Kansas City area, while confronting a challenging labor market.
Customer Challenge
Carondelet was beginning to feel the effects of a labor intensive and non‐centralized recruitment process. Labor costs were high, the pace of hiring was sporadic, a recruitment marketing plan was needed, and both hospitals suffered from chronic open nursing positions. HR leaders were looking to reduce overall costs, while increasing the quality and quantity of candidates for all positions in the system.
Key to the partnership’s success was the joint communication and training efforts of Carondelet human resources and Pinstripe Healthcare to ensure the overall acceptance of the new recruitment processes.
