David Scholz is a talented executive in sales and operations in the healthcare field. He has more than 30 years of industry experience rising through the ranks at Marriott Health Care Services and Sodexo.
Currently the Vice President of System Sales, USA, for Sodexo, Scholz is responsible for establishing, negotiating, and managing relationships with the top 25 health care systems in the United States. During Scholz’ tenure with Sodexo, he has been instrumental in implementing successful retail programs, creating client accounts that exceed financial performance goals, and developing award-winning sales and management teams.
Previously, Scholz worked in operations and business development for Marriott Health Care Services where he cultivated and managed a team of District Managers, trained and developed a successful sales team, and spearheaded an effective account retention protocol for the region.
Throughout his career, Scholz has received numerous industry recognitions and awards, including “Top Sales Vice President in the Nation” three years consecutively and “Top Sales Producer in the Nation” for two successive years. He also developed a highly successful core of Sales Directors that were awarded “Distinguished Sales Awards” for their exceptional annual performance. Scholz earned his B.A. degree, with a focus on Hotel and Restaurant Institution Management, from Michigan State University.
