Adjunct Assistant Professor. B.S. B.A. (1980), M.B.A. (1981), and Ph.D. (1995) from the University of Missouri. Professor Prestigiacomo begins as a full-time adjunct after serving 20 years as a tenured Associate Professor at Stephens College. During that time he served as the Business Administration Department Chair and taught a wide-variety of courses in accounting, economics, and finance. In his service to the College he was, at various times, chair of the curriculum, planning & budget, and tenure committees. In addition, Dr. Prestigiacomo served as a part-time adjunct for the School of Accountancy, teaching Accounting 305 since 1990. He holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation and is a Level III Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
Dr. Prestigiacomo is an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). Published papers include A Study of Stock Volume and the Dispersion of Beliefs, Regional Business Review, June 1998 and A Study of Analyst Accuracy and Bias, Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences, 1999.
