With over 15 years of experience in the Financial
Services Industry, Ane is a forward-thinking senior manager with
diverse leadership experience in operations, marketing, finance,
and accounting. Recognized as a change agent and team player,
she has created innovative, results-oriented methods to accomplish
goals.
As an executive at Strong Financial (now Wells Fargo), the 10th
largest direct distributor of mutual funds in the nation, Ane
held a variety of responsibilities. In her latest assignment,
Ane led the Mutual Funds Operations Division (including the transfer
agency function) with seven departments and 120 employees. She
established the strategic direction for the division, reflecting
industry benchmarks and the firm’s goals. She was able to
work with her team to reduce processing costs by over $1 million
through automation and HR and staffing best practices and her
department received top quality awards from nationally recognized
rating agencies.
Other positions of leadership included Vice President of Strong
Investor Services, Inc. and Strong Capital Management International,
Inc. and Assistant Executive Vice President of Strong Financial
Corporation, Inc. and Strong Capital Management, Inc. A frequent
key contributor to initiatives affecting the enterprise, Ane was
involved with improving firm-wide communication efforts, creating
a firm-wide leadership-development program, and coordinating strategic
planning efforts.
Ane’s responsibilities also encompassed negotiating significant
vendor contracts, where a recent competitive bidding process resulted
in a $900,000 savings. As Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer,
with authority to enact and enforce the firm’s anti-money
laundering policy, she is well versed in risk mitigation strategies
and tactics. Last, but not least, Ane also has experience in Marketing
Services, Retail Services and Fund Accounting.
Ane began her career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers
and Lybrand). She has a BBA in Accounting from the University
of Wisconsin, Madison. She has a CPA and is Series 7, 63 and 24
licensed.
