Bill Filip directs Baird Venture Partners' activities
within the business services sector. Bill's focus areas include
financial technology services, information services and outsourced
services. Bill is a member of the board of directors of Austin
Logistics, Payroll Associates, Salis, Inc., SmartTime Software,
and Pinstripe. He is a former board member and current board observer
of HireRight and Everdream Corporation. Bill also sits on the
industry advisory board for Finance & Accounting Today magazine
and in December of 2005, Bill was named by HRO Today magazine
as an industry All-Star for his strong investment activity in
the sector. Prior to joining Baird Venture Partners in 2000, he
was a Vice President in Baird's Investment Banking Group, where
he participated in a variety of equity offerings, mergers and
acquisitions. Prior to joining Baird in 1995, Bill spent five
years with LaSalle Partners, where he worked in various investment
capacities assisting institutions to invest in the real estate
sector.
