Director, Business Development
As director of business development, Suzie Ramirez will execute Pinstripe’s business development strategy with a concentration on the technology sector. In her role, Suzie will report to Executive Vice President and Commercial Business Leader Angela Hills and work in lock-step with Courtney Cook, the senior vice president of Global Business Practices, to build out the technology group, spearheading new business development in the U.S. and globally.
Suzie brings twenty years of experience in the performance arena, developing new business with HR executives on behalf of leading companies in leadership development, assessment and coaching. “I was immediately attracted to the success story of Pinstripe. Their approach of leveraging innovations in technology to maximize the talent attraction process fascinated me. It is a perfect complement to my experience working in human capital -- largely with technology companies -- to help individuals to become better leaders and drive the success of their organizations,” she explained.
Suzie is a strategic, energetic, and results-focused professional. She is driven by the challenge of building solutions and is excited about the opportunity to shape Pinstripe’s go-to-market strategy for penetrating the technology sector. “Technology companies are ripe for a solution like Pinstripe’s approach to RPO. Strong hiring trends in the sector have put their unemployment rate at a fraction of the national average, and created a burning platform for innovative ways to find needed talent,” she explained. “Together with Courtney, I’m excited and optimistic about the opportunity to make Pinstripe’s technology group one of the Company’s leading divisions.”
In her previous position, Suzie was a senior client executive for Zenger Folkman, a global provider of leadership development, assessment, and executive coaching, where she was responsible for establishing and managing client relationships with Fortune 500 firms in the financial, retail, high tech, manufacturing and healthcare market sectors.
Prior to Zenger Folkman, Suzie worked as a Senior Account Executive for 18 years at AchieveGlobal formerly Zenger Miller, Kaset International and Learning International in Northern CA. In her role, she partnered with leading national brands to help them improve individual and organizational performance in the areas of leadership, service and sales training and consulting. She was also a certified coach and facilitator in the leadership, customer service and sales programs providing ongoing coaching to internal and external clients.
Suzie earned her B.S. degree in business administration with an emphasis on human resources management from CalState University, East Bay in CA, and is fluent in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time outdoors. She resides in San Mateo, CA.
