Client Services Director
As the Director of Client Services for Pinstripe, Inc., Shellie Sturmer is responsible for providing account oversight, leadership and results to her client teams, and for maintaining and strengthening relationships internally and with clients at all levels. A critical component of her position is to manage the internal operations for her clients that have global staffing initiatives. Under Shellie’s guidance, her teams have expanded client services delivery to capitalize on the growing global market, in collaboration with Pinstripe’s EMEA partner, Ochre House, on international client service issues.
Driven by success and a huge proponent of continuous process improvement and organizational agility, Shellie found a great culture match in Pinstripe. The firm’s innovative approach, entrepreneurial environment, and visionary role in the industry attracted Shellie to her current position and compel her to continue raising the client-service bar, on both sides of the Atlantic.
Shellie is fascinated by the strategy behind human resources and the challenge of establishing and maintaining HR and talent management as part of a business agenda. She began her career as a senior human resources specialist with AON. Later, she held HR and talent acquisition leadership roles at Accenture and Kohler Company.
In her role at Accenture, as the global technology & delivery HR operations lead, she was responsible for the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of employee programs for a global workforce of more than 45,000. During her tenure with Kohler Company, Shellie managed recruitment and hiring processes for more than 32,000 employees at the $5 billion company. Her responsibilities included global strategic direction, training and implementation of best practices. Her efforts resulted in a 27% decrease in vendor costs and a 54% increase in employee engagement.
A fan of most sports, Shellie plays tennis, golf and practices yoga. When she’s not in the office, she is either spending time with her family, or out on the court, course or mat.
Shellie is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated cum laude from Eureka College in IL, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in business administration and psychology. Shellie is a national SHRM member and has been SPHR certified since 2003. She resides in Sheboygan Falls, WI with her husband and two children.
