Healthcare Team - Mark Tippery

As Director of Client Services for Pinstripe Healthcare, Mark Tippery is responsible for working with his clients to ensure that expectations are consistently exceeded. In this role he establishes the strategy, drives the fulfillment of all deliverables and oversees account teams tasked with delivering end-to-end talent acquisition services, including passive sourcing and on-boarding.

Mark is a big picture, strategic thinker known for his ability to realize his vision through tactical implementation. Through his varied HR leadership experience he brings to Pinstripe a diverse and broad set of industry best practices that fit well across the Pinstripe organization.

Driven by the opportunity to make a difference and deliver a tangible bottom line impact for his clients, Mark was attracted to the caliber of Pinstripe’s leadership and their approach of putting their clients first. “Many organizations boast about client service, but in truth there is a big difference between serving your clients and really ‘becoming’ them and striving to best serve their needs. Pinstripe’s focus on forging a true partnership to deliver a customized solution for their clients, and to deliver the best possible results, is a very unique proposition in today’s world of cookie cutter talent acquisition,” Mark explained.

Previously, Mark worked for Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), as a senior service delivery manager. During his tenure at Hewitt he worked in talent acquisition and client management with such accounts as Bank of Montreal, Harris Bank and Air Canada where he led a team of managers and more than 120 extended associates to provide outsourced recruiting support.

Prior to Hewitt, Mark served as the human resources director for TAP Pharmaceutical, a $4 billion joint venture between Abbott and Takeda of Japan. Earlier in his career, he worked for CIGNA Corporation, where he was hired as a director of HR and rose to the position of assistant vice president of CIGNA’s Enterprise Consulting Services group. There he led the internal consulting practice delivering customized learning and development programs addressing specific leadership gaps, organizational changes and managerial needs.

A wine and music enthusiast, Mark enjoys blogging about his life and passions, but his priority is spending his free time with his wife and kids. Mark is an active member of Society for Human Resource Management, the Staffing Management Association of Greater Chicago, and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from University of Nebraska and his Master of Arts degree in applied professional studies from DePaul University. He resides in Arlington Heights, IL with his wife, children, and three Shitzu-mix dogs.
